BLUFF ROAD

AMAGANSETT \ NEW YORK

  • The design of this Hamptons, New York vacation home required sensitivity to scale, light, and topography. The goal was to improve the quality of the outdoor spaces through strategic planting and reorganization of built elements. The design introduced mass plantings and terraces made of wood, stone and gravel. The plantings and terracing traverse the grade change on the site and provide areas to gather and enjoy the simplicity and contemporary sophistication of this restrained design.
