MAIN LINE ESTATE

PHILADELPHIA \ PENNSYLVANIA

  • The house and estate, formerly known as “Inwood”, is a mansion in the historical region of suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania known as The Main Line. Built in 1921 by the architectural firm of Seeburger & Rabinhold, the property today is comprised of 13 acres. The property is a fine example of an estate that gave the Main Line its distinctive character and reputation; open space and a collection of magnificent trees, but it lacked landscape spaces and gardens for today’s modern outdoor living. The current client and fourth owner of the property successfully completed a sensitive renovation to the house and then engaged the landscape design firm to oversee a new landscape and herald in a new era in the estate’s history.
